Job summary

Sunstall Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Specialist to support the project’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control program on field industrial construction sites, including refineries and petrochemical facilities.

You will work closely with field supervision, project management, clients and inspectors to verify quality, maintain accurate documentation, support ITPs, and coordinate inspections and turnover activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical and instrumentation construction experience.
• Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical and instrumentation installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, instrument loop drawings, P&IDs, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA70, and applicable industry standards.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication with clients and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform field quality inspections on electrical and instrumentation installations.
• Verify installations comply with project drawings, specifications, IFC documents, and codes.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain daily quality documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, construction supervision, and client representatives on quality issues.
• Maintain turnover documentation for project closeout and track deficiencies and punchlists.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and witness points.
• Review red-lined drawings and verify field changes are properly documented.
• Support audits conducted by clients or third-party inspectors.
