Job summary

Metric DCX is seeking a QA/QC Manager to own quality on major data center projects nationwide. You’ll manage the program from mobilization through turnover with a strong emphasis on MEP quality and holding trades to a standard clients return for.

In this role you’ll lead inspections, coordinate third-party inspectors, mentor QC staff and work closely with project leadership on large-scale data center builds across the country.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction quality, with data center or mission-critical experience.
• Hands-on MEP quality experience, not just civil, structural and architectural.
• Proven track record writing and running ITPs and managing NCR and CAR processes.
• Experience at a large GC or MEP contractor on complex, large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Own the QA/QC program on large-scale data center projects, start to finish
• Develop and enforce inspection and test plans across electrical and mechanical scopes
• Inspect switchgear, generators, UPS, cooling and piping systems from receiving through installation
• Manage three-phase inspections, hold points, NCRs and corrective actions through to closure
• Coordinate third-party inspectors and trade partner quality teams
• Work hand in hand with project management, superintendents and the field
• Mentor and develop quality staff and field QC personnel

Metric DCX is working with an employee-owned national GC is scaling its data center portfolio and needs a QA/QC Manager to own quality on its major projects. You’ll run the program from mobilization through turnover, with a real focus on MEP: holding trades to a standard clients come back for.
