Job summary

SLS Consultants is seeking a QA/QC Manager to join our team, ensuring client success through rigorous quality control across data center and mission-critical construction projects. You will lead QA/QC plans, inspections, and testing, while coordinating with contractors to uphold standards and maintain documentation for turnover.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of QA/QC or related experience in construction, a degree in engineering or construction management, and strong knowledge of MEP systems

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction QA/QC, project engineering, or commissioning.
• Experience supporting data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client's quality representative and ensure all work meets project requirements and standards.
• Develop and manage QA/QC plans, inspections, and testing activities.
• Perform field inspections and identify quality issues before they impact the project.
• Track and resolve deficiencies, punch list items, and NCRs.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to maintain quality expectations.
• Support project turnover by ensuring quality documentation is complete and accurate.

SLS Consultants is looking for a QA/QC Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients' success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client's quality representative and ensure all work meets project requirements and standards.
• Develop and manage QA/QC plans, inspections, and testing activities.
• Perform field inspections and identify quality issues before they impact the project.
• Track and resolve deficiencies, punch list items, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and commissioning teams to maintain quality expectations.
• Support project turnover by ensuring quality documentation is complete and accurate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction QA/QC, project engineering, or commissioning.
• Experience supporting data center or other mission-critical construction projects preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Knowledge of MEP systems, construction drawings, and quality processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation Range: $140K - $170K
