Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required, with some college credits preferable.
• Must possess basic Computer, Mathematics, and Science skills.
• Ability to grasp new procedures and work independently upon completion of training.
• Effective communication with employees, consultants, and management is essential.
• Thorough understanding of safety and training issues required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as focal point for QA/QC oversight and review of quality control data.
• Compile daily Statistical Quality Control (SQC) data for laboratory efficiency.
• Coordinate internal and external Proficiency Testing activities.
• Prepare and maintain SQC charts and Proficiency Testing summaries.
• Document and maintain records for all customer quality control samples.
• Assist with implementation of Quality System Manual and related documentation.
• Prepare for internal, customer, and regulatory assessments.
• Coordinate laboratory related Corrective Action Reports and assessment reports.
• Control laboratory equipment and supply inventory; perform calibrations.
• Provide training for laboratory analysts.
