Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Quality Assurance Quality Control Supervisor to lead field QA/QC inspections across project sites in Boise and other locations as needed. The role requires enforcing ASME code compliance, managing inspectors, and ensuring accurate documentation on multiple projects.

You will mentor inspectors, schedule coverage, and collaborate with project managers and fabrication leadership to stop nonconforming work and maintain high quality across field and shop activities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years total Quality Control Inspection experience.
• ASME B31 piping codes.
• Industrial or commercial construction experience (semiconductor preferred).
• Fabrication and welding inspections.
• Non-destructive testing (NDT).
• 3+ years of Supervisor/Managerial experience in related field.
• Current AWS QC1 certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
• Experience inspecting specialty welding applications and plastic piping systems such as polypropylene.
• Experience with other specialty process piping materials.
• Experience coming from GC or Subcontractor side (not owner QA or 3rd party).

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA/QC Inspector I, II, and III personnel across the assigned area and ensure expectations and documentation are met.
• Set expectations for inspection practice and develop inspectors.
• Carry quality authority to stop nonconforming work.
• Assign inspectors to projects and shops across the area based on scope, risk, qualifications, and schedule.
• Maintain manpower and certification records including expirations and travel availability.
• Coordinate travel, lodging, and shift coverage for inspectors on the move.
• Spend majority of time on project sites and fabrication facilities for oversight.
• Verify compliance with ASME codes, project specs, customer requirements, and ACCO QA/QC procedures.
• Lead resolution of nonconformances and documentation gaps across the area.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and fabrication leadership; approve inspector time and travel per policy.
