Job summary

Hermanson Company is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure piping systems, HVAC units, and components meet quality and safety standards throughout fabrication and installation. You will inspect materials, welds, joints, and finished piping systems, review drawings, and maintain records, working with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction QC/inspection, knowledge of codes, and proficiency with inspection tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control or inspection within mechanical construction.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
• Able to communicate effectively and work within teams.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow regulations.

Responsibilities

• Participate in quality inspections to verify compliance with project specs, codes, and safety standards.
• Review technical drawings and perform dimensional checks.
• Coordinate with QA/QC manager and field teams to address deviations.
• Document deficiencies and maintain inspection records and test results.
• Schedule and coordinate 3rd party inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in continuous improvement and stay updated on industry standards.
