Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, Virginia seeks a full-time QA/QC Coordinator to support development of Quality Assurance standards, coordinate inspections, tests, and audits across commercial and data center projects, and verify compliance with project specs.

You will identify non-conformances, issue corrective/preventive actions, monitor closures, and maintain QA/QC documentation while partnering with the Project Team to ensure installations are correctly completed the

Qualifications

• 2-5 year's recent electrical (industrial or commercial) construction experience.
• HS Diploma/GED.
• Understanding of electrical construction standards, equipment, and installations.
• Data Center experience is preferred.
• Electrical Field experience preferred.
• Through knowledge of construction disciplines.
• Proficient knowledge of Excel/Word.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
• Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective/preventive action reports.
• Monitors corrective actions and verifies closure of quality issues.
• Maintains accruate QA/QC documentation and records.
• Reports quality performance metrics to management.
• Coordinates inspections, tests, and audits at various project stages.
• Ensures compliance with project specifications, company standards, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
• Proactively works with Project Team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time.
• Performs work onsite with the Project Team in performing all inspections and reports.
• Ensures compliance with all company and customer Safety policies and procedures.
