Job summary

SPECIAL SERVICE FOR GROUPS, INC. is seeking a Manager of Performance Evaluation to lead QA, audit readiness, and program-performance activities for HOPICS division. You will supervise the QA team, ensure compliance with LAHSA and DHS funders, and partner with Program Managers on corrective action plans.

The role requires strong QA leadership, experience in homeless services, and proficiency with HMIS Clarity and DHS CHAMP. Office-based with potential for limited travel in the Los Angeles area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred in a related field.
• Experience in quality assurance, audit, or program evaluation in social services.
• Strong knowledge of HMIS Clarity and DHS CHAMP platforms.
• Ability to lead teams and present findings to executives and funders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the QA Coordinator and QA Specialists; conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee audit readiness and ensure program files meet funder requirements.
• Maintain contracts knowledge with LAHSA and DHS and translate findings into action.
• Lead QA review schedules and oversee corrective action plans.
• Coordinate cross-team training, tools, and audit communication.
• Support external funder audits and monitor for compliance.
