Job summary

The State of Maryland, on behalf of the Maryland Board of Nursing, seeks a Director of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement in Baltimore. This leadership role designs and sustains a comprehensive QA and performance improvement program to ensure regulatory compliance and data-driven decision making across all board functions.

The Director provides strategic oversight, supervises auditing and policy development, and serves as a key advisor to Executive leadership to advance regulatory

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of QA methodologies and performance improvement.
• Experience with auditing, process evaluation, and policy development is essential.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Design, organize, implement, and maintain a comprehensive QA and PI program.
• Provide strategic oversight and supervision for auditing, performance measurement, and policy development.
• Advise Executives on QA strategy and regulatory compliance across all Board functions.
