Job summary

Boston Beer Corporation in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a QA Packaging Technician to ensure batch integrity and GMP compliance on the packaging floor.

You will conduct product testing, analyze SPC data, verify codes and labeling, and assist in audits. This role reports to the Assistant QA Manager, Packaging, and requires 2+ years in quality or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience in a related quality, production, or manufacturing role.
• 3+ years of general work experience in a production or industrial environment.
• Proven mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or vocational activities.
• Working knowledge of GMP and basic laboratory/production safety practices.
• Understanding of basic Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficiency with computers and automated equipment for data entry and analysis.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and QI Analyst.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a self-directed environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product testing throughout production, including checks and measurements.
• Interpret SPC data to decide on equipment adjustments or shutdowns.
• Perform daily seam analysis to verify can seam integrity.
• Participate in sensory evaluation and testing of new products.
• Validate products, raw materials, and packaging against specifications.
• Verify coding, labeling, packaging quality, and presentation.
