Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Science (Food Science/Microbiology/biology) or equivalent experience.
• Self-starter with initiative and high motivation.

• Ability to work independently and with accuracy.
• Aptitude for lab work and seafood product testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological, analytical and/or sensory analysis of samples from plants, R&D, Purchasing and Consumer Services.
• Maintain corporate analytical records.
• Ensure proper functioning, cleanliness and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices.
• Participate in development and evaluation of new methods.
• Perform product inspections from co-manufacturing facilities and maintain records.
