Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in the Finger Lakes region to lead the quality function for a precision manufacturer. This hands-on leadership role drives quality standards, supports production, and ensures customer requirements are met.

You will oversee inspection, MRB, CAPA, and QA documentation, partner with Operations, Engineering, and suppliers, and pursue continuous improvement. A strong background in GD&T, CMM/PC-DMIS or Zeiss, and ISO 9001/AS9100 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required/preferred.
• 3–5 years leading a Quality function in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Quality Department operations and ensure product quality.
• Direct inspection activities including first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Manage MRB, CAPA, and corrective actions; drive continuous improvement.
