Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Quality Assurance Leader to oversee QA across the production facility, develop QC policies, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. You will lead audits, document procedures, and collaborate with procurement, R&D, and operations to uphold product quality and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, Lean manufacturing experience, and the ability to translate data into actionable improvements, while training staff and maintaining

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a production environment.
• 2+ years with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Bachelor-level degree in a related field; HACCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance in the production facility.
• Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures.
• Ensure food safety regulatory compliance and coordinate inspections.
• Conduct production process audits and collaborate to implement improvements.
• Maintain detailed documentation for QC procedures and results.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure supplier quality standards.
• Develop training programs for staff on QC procedures.
• Address quality-related customer inquiries and drive corrective actions.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances and implement CAPAs.
• Promote continuous improvement and R&D collaboration on quality standards.
