Job summary

Procon Consulting is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to oversee quality management for federal construction projects nationwide. The role ensures contract compliance, implements QA processes, and drives continuous improvement across project lifecycles.

The ideal candidate has federal construction QA experience, TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, and strong leadership, written and verbal communication skills to engage government clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or related field; 3+ years experience; 7+ years may substitute for a degree.
Experience supporting federal construction, facilities, infrastructure, or capital improvement programs.
Demonstrated experience managing quality assurance processes, project coordination, or construction quality programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
Strong customer service skills with government clients and diverse stakeholders.
Excellent leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication including technical writing.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary technical teams in fast-paced environments.
Certifications such as CFM, BOMI, IFMA or similar credentials.
Experience supporting DoD, IC, or other secure federal facilities programs.
Knowledge of federal construction quality management practices, project controls, and facility lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate FAC-1B and FAC-1C project activities.
Develop, implement, and maintain QA plans and oversee CQC compliance.
Manage daily QA activities through initiation to closeout, including O&M manuals, as-builts, and warranties.
Monitor project controls, schedules, reporting, quality metrics, risks, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, PMs, and stakeholders.
Lead QA/QC meetings, prepare project reports and communications, maintain procedures.
Support project scheduling, quality documentation, and interpretation of drawings/specifications.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and developing team members.
