Job summary

The Quality Assurance Manager at Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) leads the laboratory Quality System, trains staff, maintains SOPs and QA records, and coordinates audits with clients and regulators. The role requires strong QA leadership to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry/Sciences.
• Minimum 5 years bench level analytical experience plus formal QA training or 2 years QA experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Review Eurofins Environment Testing America's QMP and ensure compliance with the Eurofins Environment Testing America Quality System
• Develop and implement the QAM
• Participate as a member of the laboratory's senior management team.
• Act as the QA representative in client and regulatory meetings and in regulation discussions.
• Act as a technical resource and final authority in data quality
• Conduct and/or oversee QA training courses and quarterly ethics training
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the laboratory's training program
• Perform system audits and approve audit responses
• Perform data audits and special audits as needed
• Respond to external audits conducted by clients and regulatory agencies
• Oversee and approve method detection limit (MDL) studies and verifications
• Generate and submit monthly QA reports
• Oversee control chart generation and reference table updates
• Maintain calibration and SOP documentation
• Maintain training records including DOCs for all analysts
• Identify and resolve systematic problems through root-cause analyses
