Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a QA Lead for Social to drive QA strategy across Design, Production, Engineering, and Art for an unannounced PvP title.

You will build cross-disciplinary QA plans, supervise external QA staff, and collaborate with leaders to ensure a high-quality social experience. This role supports a mission-driven team at PlayStation with flexible remote options.

Formación

• Experience with QA for systems with limited player-facing experiences (e.g., matchmaking, crossplay, entitlements).
• Ability to define a QA strategy aligned with business, project and technical needs.
• Ability to learn game systems quickly to design efficient test coverage.
• Experience directing external QA staff.
• Experience with social features in games (matchmaking, friends, clans, chat, trust and safety).
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop understanding of the product from player value and technical systems perspective.
• Build and execute a cross-disciplinary QA strategy for the Social portions of a competitive multiplayer game.
• Identify and solve quality issues early by spotting problems in processes and toolchains.
• Partner with engineering to build tooling and automation strategies for stability.
• Train and supervise external QA staff as part of QA plans.
• Collaborate with QA Director to define team-wide quality standards.
