Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience in PLM or similar domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA activities for Siemens Teamcenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
• Develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, and execution reports.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate Teamcenter functionalities including PDM, BOM, workflows, access control, and change management.
• Coordinate with developers, analysts, solution architects and consultants to resolve defects.
• Manage defect logging, prioritization, tracking, and closure using defect tools.
• Mentor QA engineers and allocate testing activities; monitor team performance.
• Ensure test coverage, release readiness and timely delivery.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with hands-on Siemens Teamcenter experience to lead quality assurance activities for PLM applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software testing, test planning, test execution, defect management, and team leadership.

Candidates with either Manual Testing or Automation Testing expertise are welcome, provided they have relevant Teamcenter experience and a solid understanding of PLM workflows and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA activities for Siemens Teamcenter implementations, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Perform or oversee functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate Teamcenter functionalities, including product data management, BOM management, workflows, access control, and change management.
• Coordinate with developers, business analysts, solution architects, and functional consultants to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Manage defect logging, prioritization, tracking, and closure using defect management tools.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers, allocate testing activities, and monitor team performance.
• Ensure test coverage, quality standards, release readiness, and timely delivery.
• Participate in requirement reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
• Good understanding of PLM concepts, product structures, BOMs, workflows, lifecycle management, and engineering change processes.
• Experience leading a QA team and coordinating testing activities across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or other structured software development environments.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or equivalent.

Additional Skills – Manual QA

• Strong experience in functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Ability to create and execute detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Experience validating Teamcenter configurations, workflows, access permissions, and integrations.

Additional Skills – Automation QA

• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using relevant automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Python, Java, or other applicable automation technologies.
• Experience with API testing, automated regression suites, and CI/CD integration is desirable.
• Exposure to Teamcenter-specific automation approaches and testing of PLM integrations is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Teamcenter implementation, customization, migration, or upgrade projects.
• Exposure to Teamcenter integrations with CAD applications such as NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks, and enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or other engineering-intensive industries.
• Relevant testing or PLM certifications are an advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile

A hands-on QA Lead who combines strong testing fundamentals, practical Siemens Teamcenter knowledge, and team leadership capabilities. Candidates may specialize in Manual QA or Automation QA; prior Teamcenter experience is essential.
