Experienced with billing and billing systems? Able to pivot in a constantly changing market environment? Problem-solver, analytical, and collaborative? If so, you could find a home on the Billing Assurance team at Spectrum.

BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you’ll develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. You’ll work on projects of high complexity within one or more development environments. You will work on multiple programs and systems as a project team member and will be considered a subject matter expert for a single program or system.
You’ll work on communicating and collaborating with development teams, project managers and other stakeholders. You will work on developing and improving automated tests and managing the resulting defect log. Hands on experience with automation development tools and technologies. You will work on leading training sessions, defining metrics for quality assurance, and managing overall test execution process.


WHAT OUR QUALITY ASSURANCE LEADS ENJOY MOST

  • Analyze requirements and deriving high level test plan.
  • Collaborating with different teams to get clarifications on the requirements and eliminating any ambiguities.
  • Facilitate team with technical guidance and help with automation development.
  • Working closely with offshore team and making sure to deliver the project on time with no/minimal defect leakage to production.
  • Identify automation scope and bring it to closure.
  • Defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status
  • Collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrating them into business processes to address business needs
  • Documenting all problems and assisting in their resolution
  • Delivering quality process training to technical staff and acting as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business and technical partners
  • Performing quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed

You’ll work in a dynamic office environment. On a given day you’ll be involved in test planning, test case automation, test execution, and writing test cases and scripts. You’ll excel in this role if you have a positive, professional demeanor, and can negotiate effectively with key stakeholders.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: System development, business/systems analysis, testing, and/or business experience: 8 years or more
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts or Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Java; Selenium, experience using HP Test Suite or other testing tools;
  • Abilities: Prioritize and organize effectively; handle shifting priorities and multiple projects and priorities simultaneously; work with cross-functional teams; creative solving of technical problems
  • Knowledge: Understanding of database schemas and querying tools; demonstrated understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC); understanding of test automation framework and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Testing Certification ISTQB Advanced Level
  • Technical Skills: Playwright, Python, API Automation, UiPath automation. Experience with CSG or similar billing system.
