Job summary

Twin City Foods, Inc. is seeking a QA worker to ensure product quality on the production line at our Lake Odessa, MI facility. The role involves frequent sampling, code checks, temperature monitoring, and adherence to packaging specifications.

A start-up and end-of-shift QA check with metal detectors is required. The position emphasizes strict food safety practices, documentation, and teamwork within a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 4 (out of 8) hours per work shift, walk for 4 hours and sit for 4 hours.
• The pace of this job is considered routine.
• Lifting from the waist level is required; the heaviest weight lifted is 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check quality of product approximately every half hour.
• Make sure adjustments are made especially for mixes, according to specifications.
• Check temperatures.
• Check 10 bags approximately every half hour for correct: Weights, Codes, Seals.
• Check cases for correct Codes, UPC, Items and numbers.
• Check for correct product type and stacking patterns.
