Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician to monitor, test, and record product quality in compliance with procedures and specifications. Responsibilities include sampling, running tests, logging results, and reporting line status to the appropriate personnel.

You will work in a refrigerated and frozen environment, handle product identities in the inventory system, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while supporting accurate data entry and timely feedback on

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Basic math skills and ability to use basic lab equipment.
Good knowledge of computer systems.
Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments.
Good communication, organized, efficient, and have good time management.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Accurately completes quality grade using grading standards.
Accurately enters all product identity information for all product produced in an inventory database.
Performs requested tests and samples.
Maintains a safe work environment.
Provides prompt and timely feedback to appropriate personnel relative to production related problems.
