Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Quality Assurance Lab Technician in Pasco, WA to monitor and test product quality in accordance with procedures and specifications. You will collect samples, perform prescribed tests, document results, and report findings to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and roughly one year of related experience. The role demands basic math skills, data entry, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds in a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of prior experience in QA or lab environments preferred.
• Proficient in basic math and data entry.
• Good communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes quality grade using grading standards.
• Accurately enters all product identity information for all product produced in an inventory database.
• Performs requested tests and samples.
• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Provides prompt feedback to appropriate personnel regarding production issues.
