Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or 2-year degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field.
• Some Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HACCP principles and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Conducts in plant analysis and facility audit of production/quality records as determined by the Quality Manager.
• Collects samples for post process measurements and external analysis; reports deviations to the Quality Manager.
• Administers sample collection per facility program and reviews Finished Goods and Raw Material Analysis for compliance.
• Inputs data into systems; creates reports for communication to other departments.
• Performs daily calibrations related to tests and maintains lab/computer records.
