Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Visalia, CA is hiring for a QA Lab Relief II on 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm). The role covers sampling of finished products, inbound/outbound tankers, silos, and packaged goods, and requires flexibility across three shifts when needed.

You will perform routine analytical tests (citric acid, brix, ratio, pulp, defects, flavor, color), create retention sample labels, enter data into Portal/CitrOS/Sage, calibrate lab equipment, and prepare COAs while upholding food-safety standards and

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a food processing environment.
• High school diploma; associate degree in math, chemistry, or sciences preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and ERP applications.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to multiple shifts.
• Must follow safety rules and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pull samples from batch tanks, silos, tankers, and packaged products.
• Perform routine analytical tests per specification (citric acid, brix, ratio, pulp, defects, flavor, color).
• Create lots and/or labels for production packages and retention samples.
• Enter all data into Portal/CitrOS/Sage with accuracy and speed.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment at shift start and maintain accuracy.
• Send out customer sample requests using SSR database and complete COAs.
• Assist in training technicians and uphold CCP and food safety standards.
