Job summary

O’Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) Fayette facility is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform audits, tests, and calibrations and ensure product conformance to specifications. You will support operators, interpret documentation, and handle returns with accuracy.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing QA experience, understanding of GD&T and ISO 9001:2015, and strong attention to detail while working in an industrial setting. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED, required.
• Experience performing dimensional inspection of products using basic measuring equipment.
• Prior experience working in a quality control or assurance role, preferred.
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing process and equipment.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Understanding of ISO 9001:2015.
• Conversational English, required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all quality audits and tests and maintain appropriate records per Quality Standards and Procedures.
• Calibrate measurement and test equipment as required and maintain records.
• Assist operators in charting techniques and quality expectations.
• Use documentation to determine final product conformance with requirements.
• Inspect customer returned material for non-conformance and issue rejection notices.
