Job summary

LCI Brand in the United States is seeking an Inspector, QA to perform quality raw material receiving, in-process, and end-item inspection at defined points of inspection. The role supports ensuring conformance to specifications through sampling, tests, and data entry for management review.

You will help write procedures and inspection reports and use calipers, micrometers, rulers, and other instruments to verify product quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with ability to keep accurate, neat records.
• Knowledge and experience with test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, rulers, scales, protractors, tape measures, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts.
• Ability to analyze data to detect trends and communicate them to management.
• Ability to communicate with manager and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Obtains random samples from incoming materials and evaluates for conformance to specifications.
• Performs routine checks, tests, gauging and instrument inspections of materials and finished goods.
• Assist in writing procedures, work instructions and inspection report forms for area of expertise.
• Obtain random samples from outgoing pallets of finished product and check with laboratory instruments that the samples meet company quality standards and customer’s color code standards.
• Collects pertinent data to ensure processes are within tolerance levels.
• Conducts required testing procedures as outlined by customer specifications.
• Enters data into usable programs for management review.
