Job summary

VEKA AG in Morganton, NC is seeking a Quality Inspector to oversee comprehensive product inspections and to guide acceptance decisions. You will collect data, monitor samples, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

Proficiency with measurement tools and Excel is essential. Responsibilities include documenting test results, performing AAMA testing, and contributing to Tooling Maintenance Requests.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality inspection and product testing.
• Ability to guide accept/reject decisions and communicate issues across teams.
• Strong math, data collection, and Excel/MS Office literacy.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality inspection and checks including but not limited to 3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge Fit, Color, Bow, and Impact Test.
• Guides accept and reject decisions.
• Notifies extrusion teams of substandard production results and works with cross-functional teams to improve the production process.
• Collects data and monitors samples according to VEKA Standards.
• Evaluates extruded products to assist in developing Tooling Maintenance Requests (TMR).
• Performs all AAMA 303 testing and documents testing results.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Good written and oral communication skills
