Job summary

VEKA East, Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspector to oversee inspections across 3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge Fit, Color, Bow, and Impact tests, ensuring compliance with VEKA standards.

You will guide accept/reject decisions, notify extrusion teams of substandard results, collect data, evaluate extruded products, and work with cross-functional teams to improve the production process. Strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency with measuring devices and Excel are

Qualifications

• Quality inspection and acceptance/rejection decisions per VEKA standards.
• Must be able to collect data and monitor samples.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspections for 3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge Fit, Color, Bow, and Impact tests.
• Guide acceptance and rejection decisions and notify extrusion teams of substandard results.
• Collect data, monitor samples, and evaluate extruded products to aid tooling maintenance requests.
• Perform all AAMA 303 testing and document results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes.

• Responsible for all qualityinspection andchecksincluding but not limited to 3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge Fit, Color, Bow,andImpact Te
• Responsible for guidingacceptand reject decisions.
• Notifiesextrusionteamsof substandard productionresultsandworks with cross-functional teams to improve the production process.
• Responsible for collecting data and monitoring samples according to VEKA Standards.
• Evaluatesextruded products toassistin developing Tooling Maintenance Requests (TMR).
• Performsall AAMA 3O3 testing and document testing results.
• All other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of usingmeasuring devices such asDatacolor,Ascona/PromexProfile Measurement, Comparator, Calipers, Loupe Magnifiers etc.preferred
• Ability to communicate issues tactfully across multiple teams
