Job summary

Ultipro seeks a dedicated on-site professional to oversee quality and safety in a food production environment. The role involves monitoring the last 24 hours of operation, ensuring labeling and line clearance compliance, and resolving quality issues in collaboration with supervisors and the quality team.

Responsibilities include tracking hold ware, attending scheduling meetings, and ensuring start-ups meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor the last 24 hours of plant operation to contain any suspect product.
• Ensure machines are following the schedule and that proper labeling is performed; check line clearance as needed.
• Review hold ware and sort or ground items that can be moved to production.
• Attend scheduling meetings and communicate daily issues to the quality manager.
• Assist supervisors with any quality or quality technician issues to resolve problems.
• Verify start-ups meet target specs or remain within spec after attempts to adjust.
• Record and report tooling quality issues in the SQL mold maintenance program and investigate.
• Conclude the day by reviewing pending issues with the supervisor and lab techs and documenting communications.

• the last 24 hours of plant operation. Deal with any issues that need immediate attention with priority given to the containment of any suspect product.
• Review schedule and tour the floor assuring all machines are following schedule and proper labeling is being performed. Must also look for line clearance issues
• Review hold ware and bring to production what can be sorted or ground
• Attend any scheduling meetings
• Communicate all daily issues with the quality manager
• Work with all supervisors in assisting them with any quality issues and/or quality technician issues
• Assure all start-ups meet target specs and/or are within spec after exhausting all efforts to reach target
• Reporting in SQL mold maintenance program all issues with tooling that is causing quality issues or our goal of reaching target specs
• Before leaving for the day, go over with supervisor and lab techs all pending issues and review communication documentation
