Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Documentation Specialist to join the team. You will review in-process and final documents, ensure GDP compliance, and maintain strict quality control across labeling and packaging.

You will conduct audits, support NCMR processes, and train new staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced regulated environment. Strong attention to detail and process improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires 2–4 years of related experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (medical device/pharma) is preferred.
  • Strong documentation and GDP knowledge required.

Responsibilities

  • Review in-process and final documents for accuracy, GDP compliance, and proper formatting.
  • Maintain compliance with procedures and complete required training.
  • Inspect labels and packaging for adherence to quality standards.
  • Review and approve manufacturing line clearance activities to support product quality.
  • Conduct in-process quality audits within manufacturing.
  • Assist with Nonconforming Material Report (NCMR) processes.
  • Provide training on quality processes to new employees.
  • Support additional quality responsibilities as needed.

As part of the Quality team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance before they reach our customers. Where You Come In:
  • You perform in-process and final document reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, proper formatting, signatures, dates, and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • You maintain compliance with operating procedures and complete all required training before performing assigned tasks.
  • You ensure documentation is legible, complete, and accurate.
  • You inspect labels and packaging to verify compliance with established quality standards.
  • You review and approve manufacturing line clearance activities to support product quality and compliance.
  • You conduct in-process quality audits within manufacturing to ensure adherence to manufacturing documentation and GDP requirements.
  • You assist with the Nonconforming Material Report (NCMR) process for commercial and clinical products.
  • You perform in-process product inspections and testing activities for commercial and clinical products.
  • You develop an understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements to effectively support production operations.
  • You provide training and guidance to new employees on quality processes and procedures.
  • You proactively take on new challenges and support additional responsibilities within the Quality department as business needs evolve.
  • You maintain strong organizational practices while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You perform other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Your experience with Agile/PLM, Oracle, Camstar, or similar systems is preferred.
