Job summary

L.K Jordan is seeking a QC Inspector for an established industrial business. The role covers structural, piping, machining and forming inspections, reviewing NDE results and ensuring welds meet drawings, codes and procedures.

You will verify test records, mill test reports traceability, and participate in hydrostatic and pneumatic testing. Candidates should hold ASME working knowledge, API 510/653, ASNT Level II, and be able to work overtime, weekends, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• API 510 / API 653 Certification
• ASNT Level II in NDE methods
• High School Diploma
• Certified Welding Inspector
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to be on your feet for extended time as well as ability to bend, kneel and climb ladders and scaffold.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screen
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• QC inspections of structural, piping, machining and forming components to ensure drawings, codes and procedures are met
• Review NDE results (RT, UT, MT, PT) for welds and document findings
• Verify traceability of mill test reports and documentation of hydrostatic and pneumatic testing
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld

Review of NDE (RT,UT,MT,PT) Inspection of welds assuring meets drawings, codes and procedures in place, to include dimensional revisions. Verify traceability of mill test reports Observe and documentation on hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing Code documentation

To be considered, the following are required:

• Experience with hydrostatic and pneumatic testing

• ASNT Level II in NDE methods
