Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS), a division of EnerSys, is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead Receiving and In-process QA Technicians, set inspection priorities, and uphold documented specifications. The role focuses on mechanical and electrical inspections, CMM-driven testing, and continuous improvement of inspection procedures.

Candidates should have supervisory experience, an associate degree or equivalent, the ability to lift 30–45 pounds, and proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift 30–45 pounds and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Experience programming and performing inspections using CMM or Keyence equipment.
• Proficiency with handheld measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Basic electrical/mechanical inspection knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• U.S. Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Receiving and In-process QA Technicians/Inspectors and set priorities for their responsibilities.
• Perform mechanical and electrical inspections using inspection tooling and test equipment.
• Perform mechanical inspections using automated CMM equipment.
• Develop or revise inspection procedures reflecting best practices.
• Develop inspection procedures and programs for the CMM.
• Mentor and train inspection personnel on processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel on inspection best practices and summarize findings.
