Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time at a college or university
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• US citizenship is required
• Must pass a medically supervised drug screen and background check
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week for 8 consecutive weeks May–Sept 2027
• Pursuing a Bachelor or Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil (Structural) Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Systems Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor quality metrics and systems to improve 1st time quality
• Ensure products and processes comply with requirements
• Participate in problem resolution for quality issues including causal analysis and preventive actions
• Become proficient in causal analysis tools (5 Why, Ishikawa Diagrams)
• Work with various teams to achieve continuous improvement and prevent quality issues
• Implement and maintain systems that ensure adherence to quality standards
