Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Quality Engineer (Automation) to join our team in the United States. The candidate will design and implement automated test strategies, develop scripts, and run regression and exploratory testing to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities include identifying weaknesses, creating test plans, executing tests, and reporting findings to stakeholders. Proficiency with Selenium, Cucumber, and RESTful API testing is required, along with Jenkins, Git, and Maven for CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying weaknesses in software applications.
• Ability to work with development, operations, support and business partners for timely collaboration.
• Self-guided, independent work with minimal supervision.

• Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
• Work closely with development, operations, support, business partners and other stake holders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
• Work independently under minimal guidance
• Identify use cases/scenarios, create test cases, prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate reports to report to stakeholders
• Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
• Preparing automation scripts
• Troubleshooting automation software issues
• Creating test plans and test summary reports
• Executing regression and exploratory testing as necessary
• Performing functional and end to end testing
• Maintaining the automation suite
• Test data creation for automation
• Submitting Pull Requests
• Understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks
• Analysis of the automation reports (Extent and Cucumber)
• Trigger the automation suite as necessary
