Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a QA Engineer for the Prime Video Ads team to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and drive high-quality ad delivery at scale.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to define test strategies, review requirements, and implement AI-enhanced test coverage, while participating in sprint ceremonies and mentoring junior QA engineers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for Prime Video Ads platform, ensuring high coverage across functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Participate in org-level quality initiatives and define QA strategy & test plans across multiple concurrent projects, collaborating with engineering, product, and data science teams.
• Leverage AI in test automation to generate test cases, predict risk areas, detect anomalies, and accelerate defect resolution.
• Drive shift-left testing practices by embedding quality early in the software development lifecycle, including requirements review and design validation.
• Track quality metrics and KPIs, providing data-driven insights to stakeholders on release readiness.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively drive improvements to reduce customer-impacting defects.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring automated tests are integrated and executed efficiently across build and deployment workflows.
