Job summary

An esteemed Client of PaloAltoSoft is seeking a QA Engineer for OTT/video streaming to ensure quality across web and mobile apps. The role emphasizes API/backend testing, UI testing, and automated validation using Playwright and API automation.

You will write test cases, report defects in Jira, and collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams. Remote role with NCR-based candidates preferred; immediate joiners appreciated.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of hands-on QA/testing of web and mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration and exploratory testing.
• Good understanding of OTT platforms, video streaming, and playback workflows.
• Hands-on API testing experience using Postman.
• Experience writing test cases, reporting defects, and using Jira or similar tools.
• Familiarity with browser developer tools, network requests, and basic debugging.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
