Job summary

Talentify in Fremont, CA is seeking a QA Engineer for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement onsite. You will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests for mobile and web applications, and support data validation.

You will work independently on project tracks, create test plans, and log defects in JIRA. Proficiency with Python/Selenium, SQL, and end-to-end automation is required, along with experience using Zephyr or TestLink for test management.

Qualifications

• Experience with Agile development and QA in web apps.
• Proficient in Python/Selenium for automation testing.
• Strong SQL/MySQL data validation skills.
• Familiar with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with end-to-end automation and QA environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute exploratory tests and automated tests to ensure product quality.
• Work independently on project tracks and manage assigned tasks.
• Develop test plans and test cases, and prepare test data.
• Test Web apps and perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop automated test scripts and suites for applications.
• Validate data integrity and data outputs against requirements.
• Log, track, and retest defects in bug tracking system.
• Report testing status, milestones, and issues to stakeholders.
• Support off-hours launch and monitoring with IT teams.
• Maintain Confluence pages for knowledge sharing.
