Job summary

Shift4 is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our onsite team in Tampa, FL. You will design and execute comprehensive test plans for business applications, including functional, integration, performance, and regression tests.

You will work with engineers to ensure quality is built into the product and assist with production issue testing and enhancements. The role requires 3+ years of QA experience, knowledge of SDLC, and familiarity with SQL, automation tools, and CRM/GUIs/APIs

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing functional, usability, and regression testing of business applications.
• Understanding of testing CRM systems, GUIs, APIs, Stored Procedures, and Business Reports.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Kanban/Scrum frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review product requirements, create test plans, and conduct thorough testing of system enhancements using manual and automated testing.
• Identify testing risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with deployed systems and coordinate with support and stakeholders.
• Use JIRA and TestRail to evaluate requirements, document tests, track defects, and report results.
• Test across multiple platforms (desktop, web, JavaScript/.NET/Ruby on Rails).
