Job summary

MNR Solutions Pvt. Ltd is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our software quality team in a global delivery environment. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, contribute to test plans, and collaborate with developers to ensure product quality.

The role requires 3–8 years of QA experience, strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, API testing, SQL validation, and familiarity with Jira. On-site / hybrid / remote work options are available in the US, Canada, and UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with API testing and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve quality issues.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Execute database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular QA status reports.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
