Position: QA Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • 8+ years of work experience with expertise in Quality assurance and Test Automation.
  • Good experience with designing and implementing test plans, automation using TOSCA, performance and load testing, bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA), regression testing, Agile methodologies, SQL, API testing, and test management tools (e.g., QTest).
Nice to have:
  • Tosca certifications like AS1, AS2, TDS1, TDS2, TAC certification.
Job Duties:
  • Drive quality and assist in the implementation of automated test frameworks and solutions using TOSCA within the assigned agile team.
  • Responsible for TOSCA automation/design of UI, SAP, packaged solutions, desktop, and API applications.
  • Perform functional quality assurance tasks including designing and implementing test plans, scripts, test execution, validation, documentation, and client demonstrations.
  • Coordinate and conduct performance and load testing.
  • Develop test data and procedures for functional and UAT testing teams.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting procedures, working under limited guidance.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams.
Mandatory Skills:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, test automation, and framework development.
  • 5+ years of experience in TOSCA automation/design for UI, SAP, packaged solutions, desktop, and API applications.
  • Experience conveying TOSCA best practices through coaching and implementation.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Tosca automation framework, TBOX modules, TCD, requirements, APIs.
  • 8+ years in Agile teams (Scrum/KANBAN).
  • 8+ years in software testing lifecycle, defect management, and test management tools (ALM, JIRA, qTest).
  • Experience with test data management, test design sheets, recovery scenarios, configuration parameters.
  • Experience with Distribution execution (DEX) in Tosca.
  • Experience conducting performance and load testing.
  • Experience in healthcare payer domain testing.
  • Ability to design and release QA status dashboards.
  • Strong communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
