Job summary

TransCore-Amtech Systems (AMS), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a QA Engineer II to establish and execute quality assurance processes, analyze data, and support new product development with a strong focus on quality across mechanical and electrical assemblies.

Responsibilities include ISO 9001:2015 compliance, internal audits, corrective actions, supplier qualifications, and cross-functional team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 6 years related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or QA Engineering.
• Ability to write and interpret technical documents.
• Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.
• Ability to prioritize work, be proactive and work independently.
• Excellent communication, mentoring and presentation skills.
• Acts independently to determine methods for new assignments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementing and monitoring ISO 9001:2015 quality system processes.
• May act as SME for certain quality processes.
• Perform internal audits of quality system processes.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform supplier site audits for supplier qualifications and nonconformances.
• Perform root cause analysis for process and product nonconformances.
• Perform failure analysis and reporting for RFID products.
• Support ESD Control program.
• Conduct data analysis for product and process performance using statistics.
• Collaborate with engineering design teams to provide quality inputs for new product development.
