Pelican Products, Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer II to independently lead quality engineering activities across manufacturing in Ontario, CA.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and other teams to solve quality issues, reduce risk, improve processes, and strengthen our Quality Management System. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Quality or engineering field and 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with ISO QMS experience and hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO-certified Quality Management Systems.
• Hands-on experience leading root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of risk management, process controls, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyze quality and manufacturing data to drive actions.
• Experience planning or participating in internal, supplier, process, or QMS audits.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, or similar methodologies.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, quality tools, ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering activities in manufacturing
• Solve quality issues and reduce risk
• Improve processes and strengthen the Quality Management System
• Lead audits and drive corrective actions
• Develop inspection methods, testing strategies, and sampling plans
• Provide training and mentoring to team members
• Support supplier quality and cross-functional initiatives
• Ensure calibration systems and quality system requirements are maintained
