Job summary

Fireblocks is seeking a detail-oriented QA professional to own quality end-to-end across complex financial and Web3 flows. You will perform thorough manual test planning, while also driving automation initiatives to improve coverage and speed using AI tools.

You’ll dig into logs with Datadog/Sentry, identify root causes, and partner with engineers to enhance systems. A strong baseline in blockchain concepts and rapid learning in a fast-moving crypto space are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Manual QA with hands-on automation experience across the full stack.
• Solid grasp of blockchain fundamentals, the transaction lifecycle, and DeFi logic like staking and bridging.
• AI-native - you already use AI tools daily to move faster and cut through complex errors.
• Fast learner - new domains don't slow you down; you keep pace in an industry that moves at the speed of crypto.
• Data-driven debugger - when something breaks, logs are your first move, not your last resort.

Responsibilities

• Holistic Quality Ownership: You own the quality of the product end-to-end. You don't just test against a spec; you analyze the spec, find the logical gaps, and suggest improvements to ensure a better final product.
• Hands-On Manual QA: You design and execute thorough manual test plans across complex financial and Web3 flows.
• AI-Powered Velocity: You leverage AI agents (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate your workflow, expand coverage, and ship faster without sacrificing depth.
• Deep-Dive Analysis: You are comfortable digging into logs and monitoring tools (Datadog/Sentry) to understand why something broke.
• Contribute to Automation: When you're not running manual flows, you help build and maintain automation across backend APIs and frontend interfaces.
• Product Partnership: You are an engineer with a product mindset who actively works to improve the systems you are checking.
