Job summary

Vistex is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to own QA for assigned product areas from test planning through release validation in the US. The role balances test design, automation, mentoring, and collaboration with product and development teams within a defined technical scope.

Responsibilities include designing test strategies, writing automated tests, and driving quality across features while mentoring junior QA staff and contributing to test infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years of software quality assurance experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (complex joins, stored procedures, data validation).
• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman.
• Solid knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and QA tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own quality for features from test planning through release validation.
• Design comprehensive test strategies for functional, integration, regression, and edge cases.
• Write and maintain automated tests within the team's frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers on testability and defect resolution.
• Mentor associate-level QA team members on testing techniques.
