Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience as a QA engineer.
• Experience with Playwright or other end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Proficiency with writing automated tests, primarily end-to-end UI tests.
• Understanding of REST APIs, React, HTML/CSS, TypeScript or JavaScript (Node.js), CI pipelines, and back-end/database concepts.
• Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Test-Driven Development approaches.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience writing clear, concise test cases in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Hands-on experience with test management software (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and AWS services.
• Attention to detail and an analytical mind.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test cases for work items each sprint, ensuring they are detailed and well-structured.
• Identify, record, track, and report bugs, and analyze test results to recommend improvements to development teams.
• Work closely with development teams to improve product quality and support efficient deployments.
• Automate tests using test frameworks and develop QA tools where useful.
• Ensure compliance with programming best practices and web standards.
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved and conduct post-release testing.
• Monitor debugging process results.
