Job Overview

Seeking a highly experienced QA Engineer Automated 3 to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in test automation, functional testing, regression testing, test planning, test case development, test environment preparation, and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

This is a senior-level role requiring candidates who can independently plan and accomplish goals, handle complex testing assignments, and work with a high degree of creativity and professional judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated tests using scripts that execute testing functions automatically.
• Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop detailed test execution plans.
• Create and maintain:
  • Test plans
  • Test cases
  • Test scripts
  • Test documentation
• Prepare and maintain test environments required for application testing.
• Perform functional, application, and regression testing.
• Analyse requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Review requirements documentation and update test documentation as requirements change.
• Design documentation for automated testing processes.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project teams, and other stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Participate in customer testing cycles and work directly with the customer when required.
• analyse test results, identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and support defect resolution.
• Apply SDLC and software development methodologies throughout the QA process.
• Perform analysis, planning, and management reporting related to testing activities.
• Develop an understanding of the customer's business processes and assigned functional area.
• Manage multiple testing responsibilities and competing priorities.
• Communicate testing status, issues, risks, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in the following areas:

• Designing and developing automated tests using test automation scripts.
• Prioritizing test scenarios and developing test execution plans.
• Creating test plans and test cases.
• Preparing and maintaining test environments.
• Performing moderately complex:
  • Functional testing
  • Application testing
  • Regression testing
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies.
• Ability to interpret business and technical requirements documents and update test documentation accordingly.
• Strong familiarity with analysis, planning, and management reporting functions.
• Ability to learn and understand the customer's business within the assigned area.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work directly with customers during testing cycles.
