Job summary

Univio, a MachArena team implementing IT architecture for clients using MACH, is hiring a QA Engineer. You will conduct manual tests in a dynamic project environment and create automated API and UI tests in Playwright with TypeScript, while preparing and executing test scenarios.

You'll report bugs, participate in test planning, work within CI/CD, analyze Kibana logs, and help shape testing strategies. Candidates should have 2–4 years QA, API testing, and willingness to grow in automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of commercial QA experience.
• Ability to write automated tests in TypeScript and knowledge of Playwright, or willingness to develop.
• Experience in testing REST APIs, e.g. using Postman or Insomnia.
• Ability to verify API contracts and work with scenarios involving variables in collections.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes and collaborating with devs on running automated tests.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and collaboration with a project team.
• Independence in conducting tests and readiness to share knowledge with teammates.
• You use AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Conducting manual tests in a dynamic project environment.
• Creating and maintaining automated API and UI tests in Playwright with TypeScript.
• Preparing and executing test scenarios and test cases.
• Reporting, analyzing, and classifying bugs, and supporting verification.
• Participating in test planning, estimations, and requirements reviews.
• Collaborating with QA and developers on tests within CI/CD processes.
• Analyzing application logs (e.g., Kibana) to diagnose issues.
• Preparing and managing test data for selected test cases.
• Collaborating on testing processes in a complex application ecosystem.
• Having a real impact on testing strategy, tool selection, and QA improvements.
