Job summary

MOHR Talent in Aberdeen, MS is hiring a Quality Engineer to lead the quality management system's next growth phase. In-person role with a strong emphasis on AS9100/Nadcap compliance and data-driven quality improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in engineering and has aerospace/defense quality experience, with the ability to obtain required security clearance and be a U.S. person per export controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience in a similar quality role, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with ISO quality systems, AS9100 or Nadcap preferred.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
• U.S. person as defined by export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop quality procedures aligned with customer requirements and process specifications.
• Build and maintain sampling plans using recognized statistical methods.
• Lead internal audits for external certification reviews.
• Support the Quality Management System, ensuring AS9100 and Nadcap compliance.
• Review drawings to identify key characteristics and critical items.
• Collect and summarize quality data to drive improvements.
• Monitor, test, and inspect products to meet standards.
