Job summary

MW Partner is seeking an experienced QA engineer to join our mobile testing team in San Jose. You will focus on end-to-end testing of Android and iOS ecommerce apps, validating checkout flows, payments, and UI responsiveness.

You will build and execute manual test plans, document defects, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and clients to ensure high quality releases. Familiarity with Postman, Jira, and test automation a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of QA experience with emphasis on Android and iOS mobile app testing, and ecommerce.
• Mobile Applications and QA/Testing training.
• Experience testing transactional workflows, ecommerce systems, or payment processing flows (Apple Pay/Google Pay).
• Troubleshooting on physical devices or simulators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous testing on Adobe mobile applications (functional, exploratory, regression, UAT).

• Identify and document defects, latency issues, and edge-case transaction failures.
• Partner with onsite developers, product managers, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and track fixes.
• Serve as a testing SME, advising cross-functional stakeholders on proper test procedures.
• Build, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test plans.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Conduct rigorous, functional, exploratory, and regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing on Adobe mobile applications
• Validate end-to-end mobile app checkout journeys, upsell paths, payment processing, UI responsiveness, and UI design.
• Identify, isolate, and document software defects, latency issues, and edge-case transaction failures.
• Partner with onsite developers, product managers, and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and track fixes through deployment.
• Serve as a testing subject matter expert, advising cross-functional stakeholders and client teams on proper test procedures when needed.
• Build, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test plans

Requirements:

• 3 to 5+ years of QA experience with a strong emphasis on Android and iOS mobile application testing, and ecommerce.
• Mobile Applications and QA/Testing training.
• Demonstrated experience testing transactional workflows, ecommerce systems, or payment processing flows, including Apple Pay and Google Pay
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting software running on physical devices or simulator environments.
• Proficiency in API validation and network inspection using tools such as Postman and Charles Proxy.
• Proven track record using test case management systems (e.g., TestRail, Jira) for bug tracking and test reporting.
• Familiar with feature flags and A/B testing
• Basic familiarity with or exposure to test automation (Appium, Selenium, Expresso, XCUITest) is a plus, with an appetite to learn down the line.
