Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA Automation, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with REST API automation and API testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation testing.
• Strong expertise with Cucumber and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) automation frameworks.
• Practical experience working with Apache Spark for data processing and testing.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing processes.
• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.
• Excellent knowledge of test strategy formulation, test planning, execution, and estimation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience in defect tracking and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative team environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive automation frameworks to support enterprise-level testing needs.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for APIs, UI, and data processing components, ensuring high coverage and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and identify automation opportunities.
• Integrate automated testing solutions seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and rapid release cycles.
• Define and implement best practices for test automation, including code reviews, documentation, and version control.

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure testing activities align with project timelines.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, automation scripts, and testing procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
