Job summary

Nxtwave Disruptive Technologies (Hiring for Client) is seeking an experienced QA engineer for fintech products with mobile apps and real API backends. You will own end-to-end testing of money journeys and contribute to API validation, UI automation, and CI-driven regression suites.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years in QA with 2+ years testing a mobile app backed by a real API.
• Fintech/payments/brokerage domain experience preferred due to high-stakes data.
• Strong API testing skills and working knowledge of SQL.
• Comfortable working in a terminal and with Git.
• Hands-on experience with a UI automation framework (Maestro, Appium, Detox, Playwright or Selenium).
• Writes bug reports clear enough for quick reproduction by engineers.

Responsibilities

• API testing: auth boundaries, error handling, webhook idempotency, pagination.
• Extend Maestro mobile E2E suite and build API regression suite in CI.

Who we're looking for

• 3-6 years in QA, with at least 2 years testing a mobile app backed by a real API
• Fintech / payments / brokerage / accounting domain experience: someone who has tested products where a wrong number has consequences
• Strong API testing skills and working knowledge of SQL
• Comfortable working in a terminal and with Git
• Hands-on experience with a UI automation framework (Maestro, Appium, Detox, Playwright or Selenium)
• Writes bug reports clear enough that an engineer can reproduce the issue on the first try

Nice to have

• Indian capital-markets knowledge: NAV cut-offs, folios/UCC, NACH, KYC/KRA, LRS
• Python/Pytest or TypeScript/Jest
• CI/CD experience
• TestFlight and Google Play Console release mechanics
